UK Somalis demand justice for Shukri Abdi

London July 17,2019(SD)-A demonstration organized by a large number of Somalis held today in London was about seeking justice for Shukri Abdi.

The young woman who is sought justice for recently died, and her family said her death was a result of a massive herrasment at her school.

Shukri Abdi is said to have been harassed for a few months in the study area.

The protestors gathered outside the UK prime minister’s office t10 Dawning street. They also went to some of the city’s streets, and Shukri Abdi’ school carrying slogans.

Shukri’s body was found on June 27 in the Irwell River, after the police launched a search operation. Her mother, Zamzam Tuure, issued a call to the security services, after her daughter had not returned from school.

Problems with bullying and harassment of students is causing disasters such as death and mental illness.
