Hargeisa July 23,2019(SDN)-University of Hargeisa had to go through a name change for their Somali Youth Summit inorder to hold it

Authorities in Somaliland did not like the fact that the Summit’s original name had Somalia in it’s title and stopped the summit at the last minute.

Hargeisa University, therefore changed the name of the event name to Somaliland Youth Summit.

The summit will go ahead today after the change, though the decision to force the change over  shadowed it’s intended benefits.
