Addis Ababa (SD) – President of the Republic of Somaliland Muse Bihi Abdi Abdi and party chairman Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro) held a meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where the two are in Addis Ababa.

There were no official statements released at the meeting, but news sources confirmed to the Horn of Africa newspaper, that President Bihi and Chairman Irro met for dinner at the hotel the president is staying at.

Irro was accompanied by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somaliland. Mohamed Bihi Yonis, currently in a Wadani official, Somaliland Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Said Sulub Mohamed and other Somaliland elders.

Its been speculated that the two have discussed the current political situation in the country, especially on the issue of the electoral commission which has hindered the holding of elections in the country.

The last meeting between President Bihi and the two opposition chairmen was on 26 December 2019 that meeting collapsed, following a disagreement over the implementation of the two resolution proposed by the mediation committee over the electoral commission dispute.
