Bossaso(SD)-A US drone strike on Friday in the mountainous region of Golis is reported to have killed two civilians.

The elders of the Amara region of Bari region say they have found the bodies of two people killed in a US drone strike and a civilian injured.

However, US mission officials in Africa did not comment on the civilian casualties in the bombing in the Bari region, only reported that they had killed three ISIS militants in the attack.

The Somali federal government of Somalia ant the Puntland regional administration have both yet to comment on this latest civilian fatalities

Most of the US drone strikes in Somalia are said to have hurt innocent civilians.
