Hargeisa (SD)- A large gathering of traditional leaders, businessmen, elders, intellectuals of communities supporting UCID leader Faisal Ali Warabe took place in Hargeisa today.

The community discussed the unbearable accusations and a possible legal case against UCID Chairman by President Muse Bihi’s family, according to attendees of the meeting.

UCID Chairman Faisal Ali Warabe recently criticized President Bihi and his family of corruption and nepotism of criminal proportions.

A committee to spearhead a defense for the UCID Chairman was set up at the meeting today.

The communities supporting the UCID leader will release an appropriate response to president Bihi and his family once the committee suggests a defense strategy, said the attendee.

The Somaliland government has in recent months arrested various opposition leaders who had criticized the president and his family.

The president and his family members are rumored to be gearing up for legal show down with UCID Chairman Faisal Ali Warabe.
