Djibouti confirms its first Coronavirus case

Djibouti (SD) – The government of Djibouti has confirmed the first case of Corona virus in the country, indicating a further spread of the Virus in Horn of Africa.

Djiboutian health minister Mohamed Warsame Diriye told state media that a Spaniard tested positive in the capital city of Djibouti.

The minister said the person had arrived in Djibouti on March 14 and had been diagnosed with the virus upon arrival.

The number of cases of Corona Virus in Kenya has reached 7, while Ethiopia has been found in 6 cases, Somalia confirmed one case yesterday.

The disease has spread to the four corners of the world and there is still no cure for it yet, making the horn of African countries vulnerable, due to lack of sufficient Health care systems.
