Mogadishu (SD) – Details of a suicide bombing this morning at f Afgoye checkpoints indicate that the target was a tax authority office at that intersection, killing over 30 people.

Witnesses told local media that the explosion has caused large-scale death and destruction and the total number of dead is not known, the scene of the explosion was busy at the time of the explosion.

Emergency services are in the process of transporting and assisting the injured, the blast was so intense that civilians in near by houses were injured.

Most of the victims were reported to have been hit by a motorbike vehicle that went there every morning to pick up legal documents on the road, the explosion also set ablaze to a nearby Gas station.

No one has yet claimed the attack and the Somali government is yet to speak to the public about the deadly attack.
