Wajale (SD) – The Somali state of Ethiopia has seized a car smuggling handguns to the state from Somaliland.

The seized Pistols were transported by three individuals, and are being investigated according to local media.

The Somali regional State TV reported the can and 30 pistols were intercepted at Qaran district near Wajale.

The border between Somaliland and Ethiopia is a heavily patrolled by both countries national security apparatus.

The Somaliland authorities haven’t yet commented on the smugglers arrest, and how the guns got into Somaliland to begin with.
