Hargeisa July 23,2019(SD)-The Somaliland government has banned Mohamed Sulub, head of public relations at the University of Hargeisa, from speaking at the Somaliland Youth Summit, which is currently ongoing at the University of Hargeisa.

“The Somaliland government removed me from the list of people who were supposed to speak at the Somaliland youth conference, and told the organizers of the conference that they would lock the doors even if I showed up at the forum.” Sulub said on a Facebook post.

This follows after the Somaliland government allegedly suspended the event due to it’s “SOMALI” use of the word. The event is allowed after the Word changed to Somaliland.
