Ilhan Omar tells US Congress to stop US war with Iran

Washington (SD) – Representative Ilhan Omar, who represents Minnesota in the US Congress, opposed a possible US war on Iran.

Her statement follows the US airstrike in Baghdad killing Iran’s Revolutionary Guards chief Qassem Soleimani and an Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Mohandas.

Ilhan Omar has called on Congress to stop Trump’s plans for a war with Iran.

“We need every vote to rise and demand that Congress stop Trump from starting a war with Iran,” Ilhan said.

After posting this statement on her social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter, Ilhan Omar received angry responses from Americans who were dismayed at her remarks.

Some said they would be happy to have Ilhan Omar removed from the United States and sent back to Somalia, while others have accused her of supporting terrorism and hating the United States.

It’s not the Rep Ilhan Omar voice her objection with Trump’s policies, nor is it the first time his supporters attacked het for it.
