Washington (SD) – The marriage certificate of Representative Ilhan Omar and her strategist Tim Mynett, shows that Tim was the sole judge in marrying Ilhan.

The wedding took place in Washington DC, where it is legal to be the groom and certify the marriage, which seems to have been done here by Tim Mynett.

The certificate shows that Tim Mynett and Ilhan Omar were married on Wednesday March 11th. The ceremony took place in the garden of John Marshall near the Moultrie Courthouse, where they got their marriage certificate.

The news comes as Ilhan Omar’s spokesperson confirmed that Tim Mynett had converted to Islam before the ceremony but did not provide further details.
