Kismayo(SD)-The Jubbaland state has for the first time in Somali politics filed a complaint against the Ethiopian troops in Somalia.

A statement from Jubbaland State signed by the Minister of State for the Presidency of the Jubbaland State Hirsi Jama said that Ethiopian forces have violated the territories of the Gedo region.

According to the statement, the government of Ethiopia, with the blessing of the government of Somalia, is working on a plan to have Gedo region announce it’s secession of Jubaland.

It’s not yet known if both the Somalia and the Ethiopian government will respond to the Jubaland allegations.
