Berbera(SD)-Authorities in the port city of Berbera has seized military equipment this week, which was intended to be secretly shipped out.

Various sources have confirmed, the military equipment seized was a Container full and included military uniforms, bags of ammunition and bulletproof vests.

It is not clear who owns the equipment, but reports indicate that Somaliland forces have confiscated them.

This is not the first time Somaliland authorities have ceased military equipment at Berbera.

Usually the Somaliland authorities know who the culprits are, but doesn’t always disclose.
