Minister Beyle “Whoever accuses Somali government of corruption will face prosecution”

Mogadishu(SD)-Somalia’s Minister of Finance Abdirahman Du’ale Beyle said in a speech to the Upper House today that those who blame Somalia for corruption will be prosecuted.

The minister said that this institution who’s work it is, is required before the introduction of the report reviews and learn about the financial system in the country.

Minister Beyle, seems to be upset and incapable of a credible respond  to the damming report of the Auditor General, appointed by Farmajo.

Somalia is rated as one of the most corrupt countries in the world, but the Somali government has said many times in the past that it has fought heavily against it, leading to international confidence in the country’s financial management.
