The governor of Banadir region, also confirmed that his administration will not accept unlawful ownership of private buildings and public property.

He called on the federal government and Benadir regional officials to work closely with him, so he could achieve a visible results.

Omar Filish is appointed to the office of the deceased Governor Abdirahman Yarisow after he was injured, then died in a suicide attack inside the Benadir regional headquarters.
