Hargeisa(SD)-Somaliland President Muse Bihi received a delegation led by EU Ambassador to Somaliland and Somalia in Hargeisa today.

The EU delegation is led by the EU and Sweden ambassadors for Somaliland and Somalia, Amb. Nicolás Berlanga Martinez and Amb. staffan Tillander.

The delegation is said to have come to mediate on the standstill over the election committee members, leading the Wadani party to suspend its membership until both members are removed from the electoral commission.

It will be interesting to see which side excepts the EU and Sweden’s suggestion, it will be interesting because it will beg the question will the Europeans bring new ideas to the issues or will they side with one side and the other will agree.

God help us if the Europeans side with a party and the other agrees to the arrangement.

t will then appear that in Somaliland we do not hear each other, rather we hear others, even thought they’re saying the same thing.

It’s not yet known what the EU and Sweden’s plans are in solving the Somaliland’s election issues.
