Mogadishu(SD)-The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), Hon. Hassan Ali Kheyre, received a high level delegation from the United Nations and the African Union that visited the country today.

UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohamed and Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission on Women and Peace, MMe Bineta Diop, led the delegation.

In today’s meeting of the Prime Minister and the delegation from the United Nations and the African Union, which was attended by Minister for Women and human rights, talked about peace building, conflict resolution and to promote the role of women’s political participation.

Amina Mohamed and MMe Bineta Diop were thankful about the reception and praised the remarkable achievements in security, peacebuilding, human rights and women’s empowerment.
