Garowe(SD)-The Puntland high court has rejected a request by lawyers who were defending the three men convicted of murder and rape of Aisha Elias Adan.

Puntland Deputy Prosecutor Mohamed Hared Farah held a press conference in Garowe on the review requested, and declared that  it was not in accordance with the law.

The prosecutor said the death sentence was upheld by the courts and that the perpetrators should be executed, and he presented the courts decision to Aisha Elias Aden’s father.

Aisha’s father, Elias Adan, who spoke briefly with the media, welcomed the court’s decision and said he would avenge the men who killed his daughter.
