Garowe(SD)-The recent election commission tasked with working on the election process of the speaker of Puntland state parliament has announced the date of the election.

The commission, which has released the selection process, said the election of the commissioner will be held on 14 November this week.

The Puntland parliament on Thursday dismissed the chairman of the parliament, Abdihakim Mohamed Ahmed Dhobo, for allegedly violating the law and by-laws of the House.

Mr. Dhobo denied the allegations and blamed the Puntland state leaders on his dismissal.
