Mogadishu (SD) – Somali government forces carried out operations in Wanlaweyn district in Lower Shabelle region and killed Al Shabab’s suicide operations in Mogadishu.

Major Ismail Abdi Malik spokesperson of the Somali National Army confirmed the operation and the killing of the Al Shabab leader.

The man whom the government accused of been an Al Shabab leader was identified as Mohammed Osman Hussein Bulush.

So far, there have been no reports from al-Shabaab regarding the government’s claims.

Recently, an operation by the government forces in Tooratowow killed senior members of Al-Shabaab, according to a presidential spokesman.
