Mogadishu(SD)-A statement from Somalia’s Ministry of Information stopped two media institutions working in the country.

Media Link and Perspective Media have been accused by the Ministry of failing to follow the Ministry’s policy for media organizations in the country.

The two media organizations Media Link and Perspective Media have been working the Somalia media and are based in Nairobi.

The ministry didn’t give details of the accusations leveled against these organizations.

The banned Media organizations didn’t respond to the accusations and the ban as of yet.

Media organizations and journalists in general have been experiencing obstacles in Somalia ever since of the free media’s inception in the country.
