Somalia: new Coronavirus Cases Diagnosed in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (SD) – The number of cases of Coronavirus infection in Somalia has increased to 7, up from 5 in just a week ago.

The health ministry said the two people identified in the case are Somali nationals and an unidentified foreigner in the capital.

Somali government’s Coronavirus isolation center in Mogadishu’s Martini Hospital and is urging the community to be vigilant.

The Somali Government Committee in fighting the spread of the virus held a press conference at Martin Hospital in Mogadishu and told the public to come forward if they suspect they may have contracted the virus.

Dr. Abdirizak Yusuf Ahmed (Jalalu-Diin) a member of the Covid-19 committee said he fears the country could explode with the disease, if people hide their symptoms.
