Mogadishu(SD)-The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Abukar Islaw has sacked the Director of the Ministry Yusuf Ali Mohamed.

A letter from the Somali Minister of Security dated 17/8/2019 said that the Director General of the Ministry Yusuf Yusuf Mohamed was fired.

Ahmed Abdi Kooshin was temporarily assigned to the duties of the Director.

The firing comes after security compromises led to the death of beruricrats and civilians in the country.
