Mogadishu(SD)-The United Nations says it has donated $ 18.7 million to respond to recent floods in parts of Somalia.

A statement from the United Nations Office in Mogadishu said the funds would increase aid and saving lives for more than half a million people affected by the floods in Somalia.

Adam Abdelmoula, Humanitarian Coordinator for Somalia, said funds from the United Nations Emergency Fund (CERF) and the Somali Humanitarian Fund (SHF) will help mitigate the damage. frequent floods and floods.
