Washington(SD)-The United States has released a statement on the country’s documentation system, and called it authentic.

The US Department of State announced that Somaliland issued documents, particularly those relating to birth, death, and marriage, have good filling systems.

The US Department of State also has declared the Somaliland issued documents acceptable when applying for a visa for the United States.

However, there is an additional requirement, the person should be sworn in by ensuring the accuracy of the documents.

This is a step in the right direction, in achieving credibility in the international arena.

Somaliland citizens who have been trying to get visas were facing a dilemma in producing credible documentation prior to this announcement.
