Hargeisa (SD) – The Wadani Youth secretary Mohamed Sadiq Dhame spoke to Hctv’s about Somaliland’s Minister of water development Mohamed Muse Diriye who recently appointed his son to a top position in the same ministry he is in charged.

The Secretary said corruption is at its worst in Somaliland, as a minister appoints his son, while there are many unemployed youth in the country.

“The minister’s son was not employed in the ministry prior of his father taking over the post, which is a shame as there are millions of young people in Somaliland who are currently unemployed” said the Wadani Party Youth Secretary.

The Somaliland public and local media have been discussing apparent mass corruption and patronage appointments of the president family members.
