Garowe (SD) – Puntland Government ministers held a press conference today in response to the recent allegations made by the federal government Ministers in Garowe.
Puntland State Interior Minister Mohamed Dhabancad said that the federal government ministers had no role in the consultative conference and added he was disappointed in their decision to criticize the conference.
Dhabancad said the purpose of President Deni’s upcoming trip to Mogadishu is limited to the preparation of Puntland’s proposed conference between the federal government and the regional states.
The Puntland Interior minister underlined that President Deni will not hold talks with the federal government at this time.
The Puntland government’s response comes as the Somali federal government ministers criticized some of the provisions of Garowe’s consultation conference.
