Garowe (SD) – Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni, chaired a meeting of the Puntland Council of Ministers this week, approving this year’s government budget of $ 354,039,039.

The meeting also approved the Puntland Government Armed Forces Supplementary Policy and the Puntland Milk Sanitation Act.

The Cabinet meeting also discussed the recent local council elections in Ufeyn, Eyl and Qardho districts, which were a historic victory for Puntland and the rest of Somalia.

Puntland Government is said to complete the implementation of the democratic process and expedite the holding of local council elections in other districts of Puntland.
