MOGADISHU (SD) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Somalia, Sebastian Groth, in his office.

The meeting discussed strengthening the relations and cooperation between the two countries in the areas of security, investment, and economic development.

The Prime Minister thanked the German government for the support it provides to the Somali people and government.

For his part, Ambassador Groth stated that a deep friendship exists between Somalia and Germany, and that his country is determined to further strengthen this relationship in order to achieve the desired goals.
