Hargeisa(SD)-Authorities in Somaliland set four Eryal TV reporters free after outrage ensued their warrantless arrest.

Somaliland journalists voiced their objections to the rising arrests of journalists in Somaliland.

Police arrested the Eryal TV journalists after they were seen interviewing members of the Somaliland National Service persons who were complaining about how the government managed student employment opportunities.

Journalists Badri Kosar; Abdirahman Abdillahi; Aidarus Mohamed Abdi & Kamal Khalif Abdi  were released after the government failed to justify their arrest.

The journalists thanked advocates, the public and members of the Somaliland administration who worked on their release.
