Galmudug (SD)- Dr. Mohamed Nur Ga’al has won the position of Speaker of the second Galmudug state parliament which was contested by parliamentary candidate Abdinasir Adan Osman. 

Dr Mohamed Nur Ga’al got 54 votes of the total of 89 seats in Galmudug’s parliament his challenger Abdinasir Aden Osman received 34 votes. 

The Galmudug Parliament also elected Abdullahi Hirsi Mohamed as the 1st Deputy Speaker with 59 votes and defeated Sadiq Sheikh Yusuf. 

Galmudug Parliament also elected Fatima Abdi Ali as the second deputy speaker, and Fatima got 47 votes and defeated her rival Mohamed Sheikh Ahmed Maal.
