Hargeisa(SD)-The Confederation of CONIFA has revealed that Somaliland will not host CONIFA World Cup in 2020.

Confederation of Independent Football Associations is a global umbrella organization for national teams not under the auspices of FIFA , representing nations, minorities, isolated dependencies or cultural regions, as it describes it’s self.

In a statement released on CONIFA website, an evaluation committee submitted that it would no longer be possible for Somaliland to host the 2020 competition at this time.

“it is with regret that CONIFA has to announce that CONIFA sportsbet.io world football cup 2020 will no longer be held in Somaliland. there are technical issues and other factors that will not allow Somaliland to host this planned competition in 2020, and we are now looking for a replacement host. “said the statement from CONIFA.

It is not known if Somaliland will compete in the CONIFA world football 2020.
