Hargeisa(SD)-Somaliland government released a report indicating a decline in visitors to Somaliland.

According to the report from the Ministry of Finance in the first quarter of 2019, there were 24,693 people arriving at Somaliland airports,,  were in the first three months 2018 the figure was 29,612 visitors came to Somaliland, a 16.6% drop.

Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2019, 25,099 people arrived at Somaliland airports, were in the first three months of 2018 the figure was 32,623 people visited Somaliland The number of arrivals dropped by 23.1%.

It’s not  yet clear what the reasons are for the drop, it could be result of the local political divisions and the unconfentional leadership style of administration.
