Mogadishu October 13,2022 (SD) – Al Shabaab spokesman Ali Dheere, issued an audio statement a few days after it was reported that he died in a fighting that took place in El Qooxle area of Hiran region.

The spokesperson is said to have sent this message from the Yasooman area, where the group said they attacked yesterday morning, killing more than 117 government and Ma’awisley soldiers.

Although the Somali government has denied that al-Shabaab captured Yasooman, but the group said that their spokesman went to Yasooman and reported from there.

Ali Dheere sent a threatening message to the Somali government forces and the Ma’awisley fighters, saying that they are targeting them wherever they are.
