MOGADISHU (SD) – More updates are emerging from the planned operation by Gorgor Special forces in Parts of Barire area in Lower Shabelle region.

Officials from the Gorgor Forces presented images of the two men wearing masks to the media and said that they had received evidence that the men were Al-Shabaab and had taken them to their bases in Lower Shabelle.

No resistance was reported during the operation in Barire, Lower Shabelle region, where several Somali soldiers have been killed in the past.

Al Shabab has not yet commented on the on the said operation and the capture of the two fighters.
