MOGADISHU (SD) – Unidentified armed men have killed a father and two sons in central Somalia.

According to witnesses, the men had the stormed the family and shot dead the father and the sons under unclear circumstances.

The attack happened on Saturday in Galkaayo town. The father of the family was identified as Hassan Diriye Elmi.

A third child, an eight-year-old boy was injured during the attack that left locals shocked.

According to the neighbours, the mother and three other children were not at home at the time of the attack.

The local authorities have condemned the heinous attack, urging the police to urgently probe the matter and bring the perpetrators to the book.
