Mogadishu (SD) – Somalia’s National Intelligence Service has tonight reportedly arrested Abdullahi Kulmiye Adow, a journalist working for Kulmiye Radio.

Journalist Abdullahi Kulmiye is accused of spreading anti-security information, as security officials linked his arrest to him interviewing Haji Abukar Omar Adaan.

Haji Abukar Omar Adaan in the Kulmiye Radio interview supported the principle of Al-Shabaab and the killing of AMISOM troops and their allies.

The interview was apposed to the authorities and has been canceled.

Haji Abukar was a major financial supporter of the Islamic Courts Union that seized southern and central Somalia in 2006.
