Mogadishu (SD)- Somalia’s ne National Salvation Forum has written to the country’s political partners urging them to intervene immediately in the ongoing electoral crisis in Somalia.

The forum said Somalia was facing a dangerous situation because outgoing President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo had failed in his responsibility in holding elections in the country.

They also accused him of undermining every effort and sincerity shown by political stakeholders, accusing him of walking away from the Dhusamareb 4 conference.

The forum alleged in their statement that Farmajo had convened a conference as the international community is working to bring together the feuding factions in Somalia.
