MOGADISHU (SD) -A meeting aimed at showcasing and discussing the National Strategy for Countering Violent Extremism, organized by the Tubsan Organization, has opened in Mogadishu.

The Counterterrorism Strategy meeting was attended by the Director of Tubsan Organization, international diplomats, representatives from various UN agencies, ATMIS, and other officials.

Tubsan Organization’s Director, Abdullahi Mohamed Nur, briefed the participants on the importance of the presented strategy in combating the ideology of violent extremism that fuels unrest.

Additionally, the meeting featured speeches from international ambassadors in the country, as well as representatives from international organizations, expressing their support for efforts to combat terrorism, promote peace, and develop areas liberated from Al-Shabaab control.
