Garowe (SD) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi, is reportedly represented by a senior advisor at the Heritage Forum in Garowe, according to attendees.

These sources added that president Bihi’s advisor is known to have represented him in similar meetings in the past.

Abdiwahid Abdikadir Abdirahman Mohamud, the Somaliland President’s Adviser on Social Affairs, is the official delegated by President Bihi to represent Somaliland at the Heritage Vision Forum, which opened today in Garowe.

Abdiwahid was also tasked, by President Bihi, to attend mediation meetings between Somalia’s Speaker of the Upper House Abdi Hashi Abdullahi and Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Mohamed Guled Khadar, aimed to resolve the dispute over the Sub-Committees that selects the Federal Parliamentarians from Somaliland.

Its worth noting that Somaliland for over thirty years insisted that Somalia’s Federal MP’s from Somaliland did not represent them and were recognized as political traitors.

President Bihi’s advisor, who have been aviating the media, reportedly held various meetings with the Speaker of the Upper House and some Somaliland parliamentarians representing the Federal Government in Garowe.

Somaliland President Muse Bihi, appointed Abdiwahid Abdikadir Abdirahman as his Social Affairs Advisor on January 29, 2018, and has represented President Bihi at important meetings during his tenure.
