KAMPALA (SD) – President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed ‘Farmaajo’ met with the Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni in Kampala.
The two leaders discussed the bilateral relations between their two nations, stressing the need to bolster the relations, especially in the areas of security, trade and politics.
President Farmaajo congratulated President Museveni on his recent re-election victory wishing him success and prosperity for the people of Uganda.
President Farmaajo arrived in Uganda on Tuesday to attend Museveni’s inauguration ceremony. President Museveni, 76, was sworn in for his sixth-elective term of office at Kololo Independence Grounds.
He was declared winner of the January elections with 58 percent of the votes cast while his closest contender, singer-cum-politician Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, got 35 percent of the votes according to the Electoral Commission.
