MOGADISHU (SD) – The speeches of the candidates for the 10th presidency of the Federal Republic of Somalia have concluded in Mogadishu today.

The last 19 Candidates, today addressed members of both Houses of the Federal Parliament in their speeches on their political backgrounds and their agendas.

Candidates who spoke today included the outgoing President, former Presidents, the Presidential candidate of Puntland and other candidates, and each candidate spoke for 15 minutes.

The Speaker of the House of the People Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur Madobe closed the session today and thanked the members of the House of the People and the Upper House for listening to the speeches of the candidates.

The election of the 10th President of the Federal Republic of Somalia will take place on May 15, 2022 at the Aviation Tent, and will enter the last two days of the Presidential Election Campaign.
