BOSSASO (SD) – The security forces of the Puntland Regional Administration carried out extensive operations in coastal areas, targeting both Somali nationals and foreigners.

The planned operations were executed by the Maritime Police Forces (PMPF).

The security forces seized boats, equipment, weapons, and personnel.

The confiscated maritime vehicles included some suspected of involvement in piracy, illegal fishing and others lacking proper documentation.

The security forces emphasized that these operations will continue, and they will ensure that the coastal areas of Puntland remain safe from illegal activities such as piracy and illegal fishing.
