Mogadishu (SD) – Press release from Somali opposition parties to Somali parliament and international organizations and several countries, expressed concern about the presence of Ethiopian troops in Somalia.

The statement said the presence of Ethiopian troops violates the Somali-AMISOM agreement defining the scope of AMISOM’s mission in Somalia.

The statement calls on the UN Security Council to investigate the presence of Ethiopian troops in Somalia, as they are in violation of resolution 733 of 1992, which imposes sanctions on Somalia.
