Somali PM in Kismayo to hold talks with Madobe

MOGADISHU (SD) – Somali prime minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble is expected to hold talks with Jubbaland state authorities to enhance the relations between his government and the southerly regional state ahead of the parliamentary and presidential elections which slated for this year.

The premier and his delegation on Wednesday arrived in Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubbaland state for the first time since the federal government of Somalia and its member states signed election agreement.

Roble and other officials were received at the airport by Jubbaland president, Ahmed Mohamed Madobe and ministers from his regional government.

During his stay in the port city, PM Roble is also expected meet with commanders of African Union Mission in Somalia (Amisom) and elders from the state.
