Nairobi(SD)-Somaliland’s Ambassador to Kenya Amb. Bashe Awil Haji Omar had a meeting with Cabinet Secretary of Mining and Petroleum Hon. John Munyes.

The Somaliland ambassador said saw in a tweet after the meeting.

“We briefed him that Somaliland has become a hotspot in oil and gas exploration and that recently Somaliland completed the largest seismic exploration in Africa and that both our countries need closer cooperation on the economic and security front.” continued Amb. Bashe Awil.

Ambassador Bashe Awil was instrumental in some of the oil and gas deals Somaliland signed with international oil companies.
