New York (SD) – UN Secretary-General António Guterres has condemned the dismissal of Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre by the Somali parliament.

António Guterres in his UN report, highlighted political and humanitarian concerns in Somalia, specifically is concerned that Kheyre’s immediate dismissal could undermine the agreements reached at the Dhusamareb conference.

He finally called for an immediate agreement on elections so that parliamentary and presidential elections can take place on time.
