Victims of the Mogadishu blast being cared for in Doha

Doha(SD)-The Somali government has for the first time talked about the health condition of the governor of Banadir region, Abdirahman Omar Osman and others been treated in Qatar.

Somali ambassador in Doha, Abdikarim Farah Ali [Taano], in a statement to the media, said the medical conditions of the patients in the attacks in Hamar district and the KM-4 intersection have improved.

Tanao added that all the casualties were caused by the explosion in Benadir regional administration.

“The injuries that remain in the hospital are being cared for and their health is improving,” Tano said.

The Qatari government has air lifted many of the seriously ill and are receiving treatment at an international hospital in Doha.
