HARGEISA (SD) – Gavin Williamson, a British Member of Parliament, on a visit to Hargeisa, said Somaliland is an undeniable reality and was pushing for Somaliland’s recognition by the international community.

MP Williamson, told the CBA TV that he and other British lawmakers would continue to work for the recognition of Somaliland.

He added that when he arrived in Somaliland he realized the public’s desire and need for international recognition.

“Today’s Somaliland is not a fantasy, it is a reality, it is only a matter of time before the world reacts to this reality.” MP Gavin told CBA.

Williamson and a delegation of British MPs are on a fact finding visit to Somaliland, these lawmakers are also at the forefront of efforts to get the British government and the international community to recognize Somaliland.
