Kismayo(SD)-The administration of Jubbaland state is investigating the perpetrators of last night’s murder of Haji Said Isse Abdi in Kismayo.

Jubbaland Security Department spokesman Abdinur Ibrahim Hussein told media that the was killed while praying in the mosque when murdered, and described the victim as a charitable figure and a social worker.

No arrests have been made so far, but the spokesman for the Jubbaland security department said they will take immediate action against the perpetrators.

Kismayo is often the scene of assassinations of intellectuals in the city, some of which are said to be politically motivated.
